What you just did would drive me absolutely nutters to the point where I'd be cutting a hole in the seat back in front of me because my legs are too long and my knees... well. You get the point. Glad you were able to watch movies! I used my MacBook Pro to watch anime on a recent plane flight and before I knew it, I was there! (I had 47 episodes handy....). Being on planes for 5 hours (for me) is bad enough.
